Art Basel - Zero 10 - Miami Beach 2026: Miami, U.S.A.

Secret World of Signals is a solo presentation by German artist Johanna Reich for Art Basel Miami Beach | Zero 10. The installation stages communication across animal, neural, and machinic systems: birdsongs, brainwaves, and blockchain records become drawing, hybrid painting, sound, light, and on-chain data. Visitors move from mapped dawn birdsong to an EEG-driven light painting to a corrupted NFT whose vanished image persists only as cryptographic trace — an immersive study of how signals emerge, translate, and fall silent.
