Harald Theiss

Harald Theiss is an art historian and curator whose academic background spans art history, cultural studies, and literature, studied at Freie Universität Berlin with formative stays in Barcelona and Beirut. His curatorial practice is shaped by a transdisciplinary approach, combining conceptual thinking with an interest in cross-cultural dialogues.

 

Theiss has realized a wide range of projects across exhibition-making, media work, and workshops. In collaboration with various publishing houses, he has developed and curated book presentations with thematic ties to contemporary art exhibitions and festivals. Alongside his curatorial work, he regularly writes on current issues in contemporary art, contributing critical texts and essays that reflect his engaged and research-driven perspective.
